Rose champagne cake and cake pops
I was pleased to be asked to do a birthday cake as a bottle of Laurent Perrier rose, as it's my favourite champagne and I drink it all the time (that bit's a lie).
It looks great with matching rose bubble cake pops.

Christening cake pops
I made this fairytale castle cake for Bella's christening yesterday, a beautiful little girl who is four months old. I also made matching pink glitter pops, vanilla cake dipped in strawberry chocolate.
Bella seemed more interested in milk than cake but luckily there were lots of adults and children to help her eat them...

Rugby ball cake pops
Rugby ball cake pops go a treat with a rugby ball cake. I made this cake for a 14 year old future rugby star who was so pleased with it that he wouldn't let his family eat any until he'd shown his housemaster! I look forward to watching him play for England one day and thinking "I made him a cake once". It can be my claim to fame.

Snakepops and snake cake
I asked my friend's daughter what cake she'd like for her 7th birthday, expecting her to pick something pink and pretty. She put paid to my stereotyping by choosing a snake pit cake and vetoing pink or even purple, despite my claims that pink or purple snakes are the most posionous. I did some matching cake pops too. Happy birthday Hannah!
Mad Hatter's Tea Party
I made this "wonky cake" to take to the Mad Hatter's Dinner Party by The Next Big Event, three lovely girls who make lovely dinners http://www.thenextbigevent.net/
It's the first time in a long time that I've actually eaten a slice of cake that I've made myself, so I was pleased it was tasty - three layers of madeira with buttercream and raspberry jam. I also made some matching Alice in Wonderland cake pops. Om nom nom.
